3月4日，“信任与信心”鲁英产业对话——农业科技专场活动在山东潍坊举行，鲁英农业合作机制正式启动。英国驻华贸易使节倪乐思先生出席本次活动，并见证山东多家企业与英国企业签订合作协议。山东广播电视台、山东国际传播中心对倪乐思先生进行了专访。他认为，中国农业看山东，山东农业看潍坊。山东省是中国现代农业发展最重要的地区，而潍坊是其中的中心。中国一直是英国在农业科技创新方面的长期合作伙伴，“鲁英农业合作机制”的建立将有助于双方发挥各自优势，实现深度合作。

On March 4th, “Building Trust & Confidence UK-Shandong Industry Dialogue Series Agri-Tech Industry” was held in Weifang, Shandong Province, marking the official launch of the “UK-Shandong Agricultural Cooperation Mechanism”.

Mr. Lewis Neal, the British Trade Envoy to China, attended the event and witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements between multiple Shandong-based enterprises and British companies.

During an exclusive interview with Shandong Radio and Television Station and Shandong International Communication Center, Mr. Neal remarked, “To understand Chinese agriculture, look to Shandong; to understand Shandong’s agriculture, look to Weifang.” He emphasized that Shandong is the most critical region for China’s modern agricultural development, with Weifang at its core. He noted that China has long been a key partner for the UK in agricultural technology innovation, and the establishment of the “UK-Shandong Agricultural Cooperation Mechanism” will enable both sides to leverage their respective strengths and achieve deeper collaboration.
