I sell different kinds of shoes in my shop.

Before I became a shoemaker, I worked for my father.

He was the best shoemaker in town.

His shop was above our home.

Every day, I helped him carry rolls of leather and cloth to his shop.

I helped him bring shoes to his customers all over town.

I also cleaned their shoes.

As I cleaned, my father told me to study the shoes.

He would tell me who wore them.

After that, my father said I was finally ready to become a shoemaker.
